VMAXX® Specialized Grease for Wire Ropes

Wire ropes, mostly made of high-carbon steel, face corrosion, inter-wire friction, temperature fluctuations and external impurities—ordinary grease is unsuitable as it cannot address these challenges. Special grease forms a dense anti-corrosion film, has anti-wear additives, strong adhesion, penetrates rope cores (preventing hemp core mildew, reducing steel core wear), works stably in wide temps, and blocks dust. Without it, wire ropes degrade prematurely, raising operational costs and safety risks; special grease is therefore an absolute must for wire rope maintenance.

Strong Corrosion Resistance Ability

It can form a dense protective film on the surface of steel wire ropes, effectively isolating moisture, oxygen and other corrosive media, and delaying the corrosion and aging of steel wire ropes

The anti-pressure and wear-resistant performance

The specialized wire rope grease with extreme pressure and anti-wear agents forms a high-strength film, preventing metal contact, reducing micro-wear, and extending fatigue life (usually 30%-50% up).

Excellent Adhesion Performance

It can firmly adhere to the surface of steel wire ropes. Even when the steel wire ropes are running at high speed or vibrating, it is not easy to fall off, which ensures continuous protection for the steel wire ropes.

Outstanding High and Low Temperature Resistance

It is not easy to melt and flow away in hi-temperature environments, and can also maintain good lubricity in low-temperature environments, adapting to a variety of harsh working temperature conditions.

Excellent penetrability

Good penetrability of the grease lets it seep into the gaps, lubricate steel contact surfaces, block moisture and impurities, avoid internal corrosion and wear, and directly affects their service life and safety.

Dust and impurity prevention

The wire ropes are prone to dust and sand, which become abrasives to speed wear. Special wire rope grease fills wire gaps into a seal, blocking impurities and wrapping some to reduce abrasive loss.
