Common Issues and Solutions for Wire Rope Cleaner & Lubricator Kit

I. No Lubricant on Wire Rope After Equipment Startup

• Check if there is lubricating grease in the system;
• Check if the flow control valve is fully open;
• Check if compressed air is connected and operational;
• Check if the lubricating grease delivery pipeline is connected to the lubricator;
• Is the ambient temperature too low?

II. Lubricating Grease Does Not Flow

• Lubricating grease flow control valve not open;
• Is compressed air connected to the pneumatic pump?
• Air valve not open
• Check for foreign objects blocking the suction pipe;
• Is the lubricating grease viscosity appropriate?
• If the ambient temperature is 0°C or below, turn on the lubricating oil heating device (local supply), replace with a lower-viscosity lubricating grease when the ambient temperature is below 0°C;
• Increase air pressure to increase lubricating oil flow until the correct amount of lubrication is applied to the wire rope;
• Reduce wire rope speed to ensure complete coverage of the wire rope surface with grease.

III. Excessive Lubrication on Wire Rope

• Is the surface of the wire rope not cleaned properly?
• Reduce wire rope load, increase air pressure, reduce wire rope operating speed, and ensure flow rate;
• Control valve fully open.

IV. Pneumatic Pump Not Working Properly

• Check if compressed air supply is normal;
• Check if the suction pipe is blocked;
• Check if the flow control valve is open.
